A missed opportunity, an inability to concentrate, love woes, lack of success, all these things impact our daily lives. But what if we could change that. What if you could improve your life simply by using crystals? Sounds crazy right? But it’s not. I know this because I am not a person who is liked at first glance. Most people judge me. I’m not sure what they are judging me about but I know that they are judging me just by the look on their face. That and the fact that I get pulled out of airport security lines to have my luggage, and sometimes myself, searched on a regular basis. Until I started carrying crystals that is.
Lets circle back to the airport security issue shall we. As soon as I make eye contact with the agent, I am immediately given the nod to go into the line where they are either going to pat me down or open my carry on. Why? What about me is prompting them to pull me aside? As a student of Neuroscience for design, I delved deeper into the psychology of this and after much feedback from my then husband and my friends, it seems that I look very standoffish (read bitchy). Thank you very much everyone! And as it turns out, the agents love to take down the bitchy ones. So where does that leave me? I will tell you. It leaves me with my hair up and a rose quartz crystal in my pocket every time I fly.
Now this is not to say that I always sail through security. Just prior to the pandemic I flew to the UK and I got the full body scan on the way to catching my plane. After three scans something was triggering the unfavorable result. I told the agent that I had a piece of rose quartz in my pocket and gave it to her to hold and then I passed the scan. As I’m about to leave the agent says to me “I hear that this opens up your heart chakra, does it really work?” I say “Yes” and we immediately get into a conversation about chakras and their corresponding crystals. I could feel my then husbands eye roll from twenty feet away. But it was smooth sailing through the rest of the trip.
Oh, and I put my hair up because I apparently look like less of a bitch.
Given my long career in Feng Shui I also realized that I can Feng Shui the crap out of your home but if you have a basic belief that you are not worthy of love or money, it will not work. So, in come the chakras and the crystals. A blocked heart chakra often = lack of a love life. A blocked root chakra often = lack of money (I’m focusing on those two because they are the most popular). So, what do you do to fix this? You improve your life simply by using crystals like Rose quartz to open your heart chakra and Hematite to open your root chakra and to keep you grounded.
To the non-believers I say this; I once did a seminar on “How to improve love and prosperity in your life” and invited 24 people. I set 12 chairs on each side of the room with an extra one for me placed in the middle to form a U. As people came in I told them to choose a side. After everyone was seated, I used my 7-crystal pendulum to check their chakras and it turned out that one side of the room all had blocked heart chakras and the other side their root chakra. The proof was very clear to everyone who attended. Like attracts like or in this case, lack attracts lack.
I know, now you are asking yourself “what the hell is a chakra? A chakra is an energy center in your body. And there are seven main energy centers. When these chakras are open, the energy flows smoothly within them. Body, heart and mind are all aligned. When one is blocked, the energy does not flow and causes obstacles in your life. See this article for a description of each chakra and their corresponding crystal/stone.

If we use me as an example. I have difficulty showing emotion and especially expressing love. This leads to an innate frosty feeling (or sense of entitlement) when you first see me. Also, when I’m nervous, which I always am when I’m getting on a plane, my heart chakra slams shut (can you say iceberg). Thus, the trouble with airport security. Since I am aware of this now, I put my hair up to soften my look and I carry rose quartz to keep my heart chakra open. And now I am pleased to say that I am no longer getting felt up (until they read this that is!).
Now its your turn. What area(s) of your life are not flowing smoothly? What chakra do they correspond to? Once you know this you can do meditations and exercises to unblock it. And you can carry the corresponding crystal or stone to help keep you on track. And don’t forget to spend time in nature and to breathe!
Improving your life using crystals is easy once you know how!
